Growing up with a passion for healthy living it was quite a shock when, at the age of twenty-three, I became extremely ill with an ailment that doctors were unable to diagnose for over a month. After a five week period, during which my health continued to deteriorate, it was finally determined my illness was due to a bacterial infection in my heart which had lowly been eating away at one of my valves. My doctors told me my valve had been mangled and I would have to undergo open-heart surgery. This began a long list of happenings that would change my view of western medicine forever. There were so many events that seemed in opposition to cultivating health and healing that once I had finally recovered from my surgery, I knew there must be more to medicine than this. I realized my life calling as a health practitioner and moved to Los Angeles to enrol in YoSan University’s four-year Masters degree program of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Graduating in 2010, I immediately opened my own practice in Santa Monica. Excited to heal the world but with very little business experience, I struggled through the first couple of years. Mere persistence, time, and energy finally allowed me to lock in seven main areas needed for successful practice building, my practice began to soar and in less then three years I had built a 6-figure acupuncture practice. Now I educate fellow practitioners how to do this exact same thing via online classes, live lectures, and coaching, walking them through a step-by- step process on how to build a 6-figure acupuncture practice. I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue to help acupuncturists all around the globe with the success of their practices so that together we can mainstream Eastern medicine and make the world a healthier place!
