Kan (☵ Water) and Li (☲ Fire) will be presented as the classical basis for the application of Yin and Yang, for Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.

It will be explored, reviewed and presented different possibilities and integration on going back to the roots, as also in Su Wen 5: 阴阳者, 天地之道也, 万物之纲纪, 变化之父母, 生杀之本始, 神明之府也, 治病必求于本 “Yin and Yang are the Way of Heaven and Earth, the guiding principle of the ten thousands of things, mother and father of transformations, root and beginning of generation and death, residence of Shen Ming. On the treatment necessarily search on the root.”

Balancing up and down, front and back, left and right is the basis of a good acupuncture treatment, as in Nan Jing 67 阴病行阳, 阳病行阴 Yin Disease moves to Yang, Yang Disease moves to Yin.

Kan Li Method integrate the Classical principles into daily clinic application, as a deep understating on how to use these principles is extremely useful for improving the therapeutic effects of Chinese Medicine
