Abstract:

Part I  Wuji無極lecture

Classical Chinese philosophical sects, known as yin-yang school, used the Yijing system of dividing and multiplying. Their starting point was always Wuji – "the void", rather than Taiji. Now, contrary to some Western observers' interpretation of the term, Wuji does not mean "nothing", "blank", or "empty". In fact, it means just the opposite!

Part II  Five Circles Qigong

The creation of this practice is attributed to Li Cunyi*, an internal martial artist.

According to traditional interpretations, the practice is influenced by the Buddhist thought of the human nature. After the assimilation process, a deeper research is needed, which involves principles named "the point in the heart". The first principle is called "to reinforce the spirit" (ding shen*). How do we implement this principle? It is connected to our visual manner and the vitality of our glance, or as the Buddhist  proverb goes "not to look, not to stare*".
