תקציר:

Antibiotics are a central part of modern medicine but their future looks increasingly limited.

In this lecture I will present data from two studies, showing the effect of daily moxibustion on the immune system of people with tuberculosis, HIV and tuberculosis, and drug-resistant tuberculosis.

Moxibustion has an emerging role to play for immunocompromised people and those with drug resistant infections, not to mention as an effective protocol for maintaining health.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn how moxa affects the immune system
  2. Understand the significance of direct moxibustion
  3. Appreciate the clinical differences in different grade of moxa
