Sharon Weizenbaum graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1983. After practicing and studying for seven years, she lived in Hang Zhou, PRC from 1990-1991. There she studied gynecology and obstetrics with Dr. Qiu Xiao-Mei and Chinese language. Since then she has been faculty at the Northwest Institute of Oriental Medicine and taught broadly worldwide. She is the founder of White Pine Healing Arts clinic and White Pine Institute, where she teaches her two-year Graduate Mentorship Program. The institute has hosted many prominent teachers of Chinese medicine such as Huang Huang, Feng Shi-Lun, Fu Yan-Ling and Nigel Dawes. Sharon has also returned to China to study. Sharon has continued to translate material from Chinese into English, having completed more than 25 ebooks on classic formulas and gynecology that are available to her students. In the last 15 years, she has delved deeply into the study and practice of classic formulas.
