Albert de Vos (March 1949), BSc LAc, has been in practice as a physiotherapist and acupuncturist for over 37 years. As Vice President of the Dutch Acupuncture Association he is active in improving the position of acupuncturists, defending their interests within society in general, more specifically within the field of healthcare.
Albert has taken a lead role in the European Traditional Chinese Medicine Association (ETCMA) since its foundation (2002), acting as Chief Executive Officer from 2005 till 2014.
In 2014 he was elected as President of the ETCMA.
The ETCMA is an umbrella body for professional associations (21) working in different fields of TCM. It currently represents around 15.000 practitioners in 16 European countries as well as from Israel.
