Field: Chinese Medicine - Practical - Trauma
Acupuncture in combination with counselling and family constellation as part of a systemic approach in clinic with the emphasis on trauma treatment.
Traumas, especially if they occur in the childhood, leave a long trail of behavioural and personal misbalances. Its treatment needs a multi facet approach that can deal with the emotional – spiritual, energetic and intellectual - cognitive levels in the patient. The patient needs time to develop, and the practitioner needs different skills and a deeper knowledge of different treatment aspect to support him. The Gallbladder plays a key role in the development of the traumatised patient and we will look at ways how we can strengthen it and use its force.
On the basis of treatments from my own clinic, I will try to show a model of trauma treatment with a specific emphasise on treatment development, the time involved and how acupuncture and systemic counselling can interact and enhance their specific effects.
