Avi Magidoff is a graduated from San Francisco College of Acupuncture in 1991 and in his search for better education founded the Acupuncturists Support Group, which brought Jeffrey Yuen, Elisabeth Rochat, Jiang Jian Fu, Kiiko Matsumoto, and Master Kawaii to San Francisco. Avi is an early student of Daoist priest Jeffrey Yuen and Kiiko Matsumoto, as well as Miriam Lee,
Avi has created a number of integrative and community projects both in San Francisco and in Portsmouth, NH, where he now lives. He teaches Buddhist meditation and acupuncture in North America, Europe and Asia. He teaches a palpatory based methodology that encourages exploring more than just protocols, and that is loyal to Kiiko's methods, to Jeffrey's philosophical ideas on medicine, and to his root teacher, Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh.
